Was really busy working the past month.
So sorry to all my friends for not having time for you guys.
Am currently unemployed again.
Just quited my job last Saturday,
just in time for the thorough Christmas celebrations that followed.
Had an enjoyable time working with the people I met at work.
Especially Kidson, my fellow Casio promoter who took care of me.

24th December 2006:
Had Christmas luncheon at Aunt Val’s place in the afternoon. Finally got to see my latest cousin, Naomi, cutie Nat’s sister. She is so tiny can! Pray that she can grow up healthily just like any other kids. =D

Headed over to Jason’s place in the evening for the Christmas dinner cum gift exchange. Had 2 bowls of yummy mushroom soup. I promise to start learning how to prepare that and prepare for my future boyfriend. Heh.
For the gift exchange, Chrys came up with a stupid game.
Everyone is given a piece of paper.
A common theme was set. (Cartoon character is the theme for that night)
Think of a character and write it down on the paper.
Exchange the paper with someone else.
Put it up infront of you.
Everyone will be able to know what is your character except yourself.
You have to guess what is your character by asking yes/no question.
The one who guessed his/her character first will be allow to choose which present to get first.
With the rule clearly set and characters exchanged, we started the game.
Quite a few slip-of-the-tongue here and there.
We peeped when Marvin went out of the room and eventually led him to think that we are all so smart that we can choose our presents before him.Hah.
In the end, I got a motorbike model, Marvin got my Royce chocolate and Chrys got a Furby! Should have took her photo when she realised it was a Furby (contributed by Marvin), that was classic man!
They proceed on to play mahjong while I sat beside Jason to watch. They are too pro for me to play with. Hah.
Overall, quite an enjoyable Christmas as I ended it by chatting with Chu Wen online and Da Nan Ren on the phone. =D
25th December 2006:
Met up with Goddess and Meiying for our annual birthday cum christmas meal at Marche. This is the ritual every year for the 3 of us. Though there were more than 3 last year. *shrugs*
Had to keep the birthday girl company while Birdie set up his place for her surprise birthday celebration. After Marche, we went to visit my ex-colleagues at Suntec and Plaza Singapura. Everyone was so surprise to see me, especially those at Plaza Singapura. =D
We continue with our shopping while waiting for Birdie’s call. Finally got his call at 1845, and confirmed that the others will be there by 1930. So, we continued shopping around and managed to take a photo with Santa! =D
Finally left Plaza Singapura at 2000. Meiying had to go back to Malaysia hence Goddess sent her back to her place to pack up while I go home to pick up her present first. By the time we finally reached Birdie’s, it was already 2140. Almost 2 hours late. Gee. Had cake fight and everything that a birthday party suppose to have. Proceeded on to play mahjong, the 4 culprits being : Princess, Kelvin, ShiWei (my supposed crush) and Birdie. We played till about 630am where ShiWei was taken over by Alvin since he was really too tired to continue. Birdie was the overall winner. Crap.
Had a short rest, woke up at 1330 because Birdie called to ask me out for lunch but I did not. Too tired already. In the end, met up with Lee at 3 at Clementi for Botak Jones, and spent some time at Jurong East Library reading comics. Heh. What a nice thing to do on a rainy afternoon, though it was getting colder by the minute.

Details of Grad Night 2006 Part I
Location: City Hall MRT control station.
Time: 1135
Feeling: Anxious
Suppose to be meeting our dear Royal Nanny at 1130 at the control station, with a pact that says, whoever is late will have to treat the other party a meal, so, that is why I was anxious. =D
Anyway, that girl was even later than me, citing reason that her sister was taking her own sweet time before going out so, causing her to be late. No choice then, cannot make her give me a treat. Waited till about 12 and 3 phone calls later then I saw her appearing suddenly.
Headed over to Pan Pacific Hotel to check into our room. However, when we arrived, we were told that check in is at 1500, instead of 1200 which her Dad told her. Crap. But the very nice receptionist tried to help by hastening the cleaning process hence, asked us to come back at around 1330 to check in while they clean the room for us. =D
We then headed over for tea and shopping at Marina Square to waste time. Was doing my favourite past-time, people-watching. Slacked at TCC and people-watched for quite sometime. I guess the servers there will think that we are crazy. Hah.

Feeling: Excited
Finally got our ass-es into the hotel room. Woohoo! It was super comfy can. I kept jumping on the bed till Yan Ling asked if I was alright. Hah. I simply love the bed! Few minutes later, our bags were sent up by the bellboy, and I think he expects a tip or something. However, being poor ex-student and pathetic unemployed then, we could not afford to give him any so, we sent him away with the brightest smile and said thanks. =D
Rotted, ate cup noodles, drank juices and watched crap shows on television till Vicky, our makeup artist came at 1545.
Yan Ling had hers done first, because I am no Miss Elegant hence stand a high chance of ruining the makeup before I step out of the room if I do it first. =S

Working life
Been really busy with work recently.
The past 3 weeks to be exact.
Work has been fun.
Yet tiring at the same time.
The money is good.
Not the timing.
Just pray that my pay will come in soon.
Else really have to eat grass.
